Our Services
At Peek-A-Boo Kids, we provide early intervention services for infants and toddlers who have been diagnosed with special needs and/or developmental delays. We utilize research-based strategies to effectively help children reach developmental milestones and we support parents in learning how to best meet their children's needs.

What is Intake? As an Intake Service provider, Peek-A-Boo Kids helps families complete the initial paperwork required before the initial assessment to determine eligibility for Early Intervention services. We ensure that you understand the assessment process and answer any questions you may have.
What is Early Intervention? As an Early Intervention provider, we provide hands-on intervention for infants and toddlers who have special needs or developmental delays using a dual service intervention approach.
-
Special Instruction: Weekly teaching time that addresses parent/caregiver concerns. We come to your home to provide research-based strategies that you can use with your child throughout the remainder of the week. We teach you how to implement these strategies with your child for the best results.
-
Service Coordination: Your Early Interventionist will help connect you and your family with services that address your concerns and needs.
What is Case Management? As a Case Management Provider, Peek-A-Boo Kids will make sure services are appropriate and effective and, as needed, make referrals and/or link families to additional service providers.

PRINCIPLES
-
Infants and toddlers learn best through everyday experiences and interactions with familiar people in familiar contexts.
-
All families, with the necessary supports and resources, can enhance their children’s learning and development.
-
The primary role of a service provider in early intervention is to work with and support family members and caregivers in children’s lives.
-
The early intervention process, from initial contacts through transition, must be dynamic and individualized to reflect the child’s and family members’ preferences, learning styles and cultural beliefs.
-
Outcomes must be functional and based on children’s and families’ needs and family-identified priorities.
